My Values compared to American Values
Q. Think about what you value the most and what America values the most. Do they match? why or why not? use what you know, what your classmates have said and what your family says.
A. The values that my family and I have are completely different from the values of America. I know that America values money and power. Those are things that I think are just to keep the countries name in its place. This is something that may be value to other people but not to all Americans. From what I believe money always comes and goes. The power that America wants is power that makes people go against each other all the time and this might be what is getting America in trouble.
What I value the most is education and religion this is what my parents showed me and what they think is valuable too. Education is my most valuable thing because I put effort into it and get knowledge out of it this is like a give and get thing. America puts little attention to education and I think that is what makes Americans not understand each other. My family has always said that money comes and goes but that education stays forever. I think America has different values because it makes sure to have the needs to reach Americans different values so they might be making sure that we keep what we have.
My classmates and I have similar values they all have to do with family traditions and culture that we like to keep in the family for ever. They are all different from American traditions because we worry about our tomorrow and our today. We all have same values but explain them in different ways and this made me feel stronger about how I feel about my strong and weak values. Most of us come from the same ethnic groups so this makes us combine our similar values but in different ways. The things that we value the least are depending on our economy and on what we respect in our family. We share similar values because we know how hard it is to get things in our lives and other rich Americans don’t so we our the ones that suffer the consequences. They don’t consider what the poor would struggle if they race the money on schools because we are the ones working for it not them.Posted by Soriano at 10:29 AM 4 comments

A little bit about who i am and what i want to do.
1.Tell us something you have done that no one in this class has done.
One thing that I have done that I think no one in the class has is laying the wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldiers. This was something that was given to only four eight grade students
that were the top students. i was picked so i got to be in Washington D.C for a week and everything was paid for me. I got to know the honor to do this and lay a wreath on those soldiers that would never be known that gave their lives for their country.
2. Provide three adjectives for yourself
A. Open minded
B. Amusing
C.organized
3. Give us a brief history on your name
My name comes from my dad's sister which was the only person that supported my mother to have me. when my mother was pressured to get an abortion for me she just looked up and seen a calendar that had my name and she remembered my aunt and how much support she gave her so she decided to have me and name me after her.
